  Acrylic, Paintings, Portrait  /   80cm x 80cm

Although we can identify elements in Paola Falconi’s work as result of a certain influence by Gustave Klimt – the colours, the painting’s musicality, the unconventional geometrical flowers – their presentation suggests a kind of peace and positivity that lead the viewer far away from the Schopenhauer’s pessimism of Klimt’s works. There is not anxiety or perturbation in Paola Falconi’s work.
Untitled represents a young woman peacefully asleep and surrounded by a friendly nature, which is always a major source of inspiration for the artist.
Paola Falconi uses soft brushstrokes and elegant lines to find a perfect balance in this painting and as a way to communicate beauty and hope.
